Links for Aftermarket Parts, Accessories, Tools, Etc.
| Regional Forums | Automotive Tools and Technical pages |

(Updated:12/13/2005)
This page is full of links to suppliers of parts, tools, and accessories for Volkswagens. Some of these suppliers are also vendors of BMW, Audi, and Porsche parts.
The links are listed in alphabetical order for the sake a making your search easier. In addition, I have tried to list a comprehensive description of products for each manufacturer, so you can use the Ctrl+F ("find on this page") feature to locate a supplier for you. For example, if you use Internet Explorer on a PC and you want to find a supercharger dealer, go to Edit-->Find (on this page), and then type "supercharger" in the field. Then click "Find Next".
Another note: For German websites or any website in another language, the Babel Fish translator can help approximate English. It translates just enough that you can get the general idea.
Stock and OEM Parts
The following links are primarily suppliers of OEM parts and accessories for Volkswagen, though some of the suppliers are general automotive parts suppliers. Not all parts are new, some are used and/or refurbished.

- Adirondack Auto Brokers is known to some as German Auto Parts. Junkyards and Used Parts
I've tried to compile a list of junkyards and sellers of used and new European parts by creating threads on VWVortex, WR6.org, and VWSyncro.uk.co. This is what I have so far.

Aftermarket Parts and Accessories
In most cases, aftermarket suppliers offer a typical assortment of parts. For the novice enthusiast, one might be interested in standard upgrades, such as exhaust, engine management, and intake modifications. Most of the suppliers listed below provide these services. Others limit their market to only exterior and interior accessories, such as new grilles, bumpers, and spoilers, or shift knobs, pedals, and steering wheels. Some suppliers are better than others, some are more comprehensive, and some are unique for providing rare services, such as forced-induction kits or North American-to-European parts conversions.

- I have only purchased one item from Bahn Brenner. It was a big-brake kit for the rear brakes on my mk3, using 11" rotors adapted with new hubs and mk4 brake calipers. I am quite satisfied with this kit, and the purchasing/shipping/delivery process was so uneventful and unremarkable that I have no complaints or praise to offer. OEM parts, intakes, brakes, chips, drivetrain, engine, exhaust, fuel, body kits, intercoolers, interior, lighting, silicone hoses, superchargers, turbochargers, suspension, wheels. - A Georgia performance shop specializing in mostly mk2 (A2) VWs, Barry Palmer Auto, Inc. offers camshafts, lower motor upgrades, head upgrades, G60 pulleys, turbo kits, grilles, foglights, A2 Late Model Bumpers - Lots of racing equipment for Volkswagens, including mk4 VWR widebody fenders and race chassis. - Great place to buy OEM turbos for a grassroots turbo project. - Brake conversions, hybrid engine swaps, etc. Great place for information and products for genuine cross-generational Dubbing. Apparently, they will soon be offering a standalone Haldex controller as well (?). - Great place for diesel TDI owners. - DTM gets its recognition on the VWVortex forums for their carbon fiber hoods. They offer more than carbon kits, however, so check them out if you are curious. - 1.8T Turbo upgrade, plenty of engine upgrades, suspension, and other standard aftermarket goodies. Exhaust, intakes, chips, valvetrain, motor mounts, superchargers, turbos, diverter valves, intercoolers, powergaskets, shocks, springs, coilovers, sway bars, stress bars, brakes, clutches, short shifters, differentials, transmissions, gauges, switches, shift knobs, steering wheels, pedals, harnesses, lighting, euro accessories. - A site that hasn't been updated for some time, these tuners have made several twin VR6 cars, with and without forced induction. A fantastic resource for VW tuning. - AKA VWFixx, this site includes forums and a "tuning guide". - Body styling, wheels, lighting, and spacers for every VW since 1975. - Dubbers in the market for more aggressive VR6 cams might want to consider DynoSpot Racing (DSR) as an alternative to Schrick. Their cams offer similar performance for a little less money. DSR is also a supplier of VF supercharger kits. Check out their site for links to many other tuners.

- Stout carbon fiber hoods. Featured in Eurotuner. - Supplier of Garret turbochargers and other systems. - A great place for finding OEM parts for doing swaps. Drivetrains, transmissions, lighting, etc. - Supplier for fairly standard bolt-on aftermarket accessories, such as CAI kits, lightened flywheels, brakes, suspension, etc. Stressbars, cat-back exhausts, MOMO crap, wings, Red Line fluids - NGP Racing's import headquarters. NGP rules because they are importing rare VW parts left and right, including complete R32 drivetrains, Mk3 and Mk2 Syncro cars, 4Motion parts, etc. A dream come true. - ECS has an excellent selection of brake kits for the Mk3. I purchased a tool from ECS designed for the purpose of rotating caliper pistons as they are forced back into the caliper when refitting new pads and/or rotors. I also purchased stainless steel brake lines from ECS. Check them out as their product line is expanding rapidly. VR6 pulleys and headers, Beru coilpack, big brake kits, SS lines, ABS sensors, wheels adapters and bolts, control arm bushings, coilovers, camber kits, heavy duty driveshafts, C/V joint kits, limited slip differential, camera mounts. Much more to list. I highly recommend ECS. - EIP sells six different turbo kits for the VR6. Stage 2 or higher kits are for serious racing only, given that the stock clutch, transmission, and differential weren't designed for much more than 220 hp (some say it can handle 300+, so it's up to you to see what your car can do). If you have an unlimited budget and you are interested in making a competitive racing vehicle, EIP has the supplies that you need. There are 6-speed conversion kits for the 5-speed manual that is found in most mk3 VR6-equipped vehicles, and EIP designed their own differential as a competitor to the Quaife and Peloquin brands. EIP also offers an intake manifold that is about half the price of a Schrick manifold and is tuned for FI applications. Camshafts, intakes, motor mounts, NOS, camber kits, transmission, clutch, differential, flywheels, stand-alone engine management as well as OEM engine management upgrades for turbo and supercharger applications, fuel pumps, fuel filters, fuel injectors, fuel pressure regulators. - Electrodyne seems to supply aftermarket parts for almost solely mk4 vehicles with an emphasis on body styling. However, there are some Mk3 parts available. Exhaust, clutch, spark plug wires, springs, and K&N air filters. - Aftermarket supplier for other vehicles besides VW. Emotion Garage is one of the only companies I know of that carries a carbon fiber hood for the mk3 Jetta. Body kits, lighting, mirrors, lowering springs, Brock wheels, Neuspeed stuff, Stoptech brakes, FK stuff, Corbeau seats. - Carrier of highly technical aftermarket parts and accessories for VWs, such as 1.8T turbo upgrades, engine swap kits, transmission kits, etc. 16v conversions, 6-speed transmissions, 5 lug conversions, turbo head gaskets, fuel injection kits, and more. - Lighting, grilles, badges, mirrors, euro plates, valences, side skirts, spoilers, steering wheels, pedals, knobs, wheels. - Maker of a rare body kit for the mk3 Jetta. They sell spoilers, wings, ground effects, wide body kits, grills, mirrors, fender flares, etc. It's not just VW stuff, though. - Tons of European parts for VWs. Explore the site to see what updated products are available. - Suspension, forced induction, braking, exhaust, wheels, etc. - Super rare engine kits for most VW engines. Lately, this has been one of my favorite sites because there is just so much available. There is enough here to rebuild your 8v, 16v, or 20v engines, plus plenty of stuff for both 12v and 24v VR6's. Stroker kits, clutch and flywheel upgrades, port and polish, turbos, intercoolers, exhaust, transmission, and brake upgrades. Search the site and try not to drool. - This is a seller that uses the eBay market to distribute exterior body parts for European automobiles, and most products are made by FK. Grilles, fenders, mirrors, etc. - Makers of a real aluminum dash kit. The kit is made of genuine aluminum, though it mounts to the dash in the same way that any other kit does. This means that one uses adhesive to mount it. - Evolution Tuning offers a unique grille for the Jetta and Passat, in addition to heatshields and exterior accessories. - Carrier of a wide selection of aftermarket parts, such as motor mounts and cooling systems. Selection ranges from minor upgrades to week-long projects. Body styling, brakes, electrical upgrades, emblems and badges, engine stuff (Turn2 mounts, flywheels, pulleys, valve springs, camshafts), exhaust, interior accessories (W8 overhead switches!), lighting (Hella stuff, including HID), lubricants and cleaners, suspension, safety harnesses, short shifters, and wheels adapters and spacers. - The above three suppliers are different, independent companies. This last one sharing the word "evolution" in its name offers a wide range of parts for other makes besides VW. Look here for differentials, engine kits, as well as standard upgrades. There are accessories for Mk3, Mk4, B5, and the Beetle. VF superchargers, CAIs, exhaust, coilovers and cupkits, etc. Pretty standard stuff, except these guys carry Forged (TM) wheels, a company that I have never seen before. Up to the buyer. - A German site with some interesting project cars. Use Babel Fish for translations (link at top).

This page wasn't responding, last time I checked. I'll leave it here until the next update. - Lots of Mk2 parts including Euro bumpers and go-fast parts. - FK is a maker of coilovers, badgeless grilles, angel-eye headlights, exhaust systems, seats, and aftermarket wheels with a good reputation amongst VW drivers. FK is typically praised for good quality at a good price (badgeless grilles start at a mere $89!). - Used and new VW performance parts. VGI manifolds (OBD 1) and other hard to find European parts. - Accessories for MkIV and MkII, but apparently the MkIII has been left out. Find intercoolers for your 1.8T or Samco hoses for your Dub. - Futrell supplies many aftermarket parts, and provides some helpful step-by-step information on engine swaps, such as a 12v VR6 swap into a mk2, or a 1.8T swap into a mk2 or mk3. Futrell is an excellent source for friendly and knowledgeable service. Highly recommended for those who are considering a hybrid/swap project. Recently, Futrell has expanded as a distributor for performance VW parts. The parts that are sold by Futrell are the parts that have been used on past projects, so if they are for sale on this site, you can bet with confidence on the quality of the part. These gentlemen do good work.

- Tuners of 8v and 16v water cooled engines, and supplier of many air-cooled parts. -Exhaust kits. Lots of 'em. - Garret is perhaps the most well-known maker of engine management upgrades in the VW aftermarket. They offer chips for simple plug-and-play upgrades, and they are the designer of the engine software for Vortech's supercharger kit for the 12v VR6. - Makers of some beautifully race-prepped engines. Want independent throttle bodies? Check with these guys. VR6 hi-flow cylinder heads, 2.9 and 3.0 liter VR6 long blocks, camber/caster kits. - Maker of big valve heads and supplier of injectors, ATP Turbos, Schrick products, and JE Pistons. Contact GSB for increasing the displacement of your VR6. - Not a lot of selection for VWs, but a lot of stuff for Nissans and other Japanese manufacturers. - A site with minor car parts for most German cars.

- The website for the OEM supplier. - J's House of Euro is an excellent source for North American-to-European parts conversions. Lately this link has not worked so I will keep it here until the next update. - HPA sells a twin turbo kit for the VR6, and they recently completed a TT 3.2L 24V VR6 kit for the R32, and it's damn sexy. How does a stage II 550 hp R32 sound? With a 0-60 time of 3.2 seconds, you'll be beating exotics off the road. I'm so pissed I don't have one. They specialize in the 24v engine, but the 2.8L 12v can benefit from HPA as well. A 300 hp sigle turbo kit with a side mount intercooler at 13 psi will cost you about $4k. They also sell transmission, brakes, and suspension pieces.

I purchased my Wilwood 4 piston brake kit from Momentum for an excellent price, and they helped me troubleshoot my install over the phone. Check them out as they are rapidly expanding their product line to include new FK products as well. Highly recommended. Lighting, body pieces, shift knobs, braking, suspension.

- Neuspeed is another aftermaket supplier that has been in the business for a long time. Their parts have withstood the test of time, and most products they sell are of high quality. Hasn't been around for awhile. - G60 rebuilds, R32 supercharger, other mods.

Their site is currently being updated, so it looks a little slim. Call or email for a full list of parts available.

- A southern California Audi/VW tuner - Makers of camber kits for lowered vehicles. Stratmosphere Enthusiast Products - ABT wheels, diverter valves, exhaust, etc. TT twin cat exhaust. - Strictly Foreign supplies many different kinds of body kits for VWs. Most of the pieces are fiberglass and many of them look quite similar to other designs. SF does not have the best reputation because of high prices and second-hand designs, but the site is an excellent place to visit for ideas about body styling. - German website with engines and such. - Les Burt's website about all things Syncro. Les is a knowledgeable fellow who routinely offers his advice on the Yahoo G60 Syncro Group as well as the AWD Forums on VWVortex.
